• Dual Action: It combines the systemic activity of Metalaxyl with the contact action of Mancozeb. Metalaxyl is absorbed by the plant and provides internal, curative protection by disrupting nucleic acid synthesis in fungi, while Mancozeb remains on the leaf surface as a protective barrier, inhibiting spore germination.
• Broad Spectrum: This combination is effective against a wide range of fungal pathogens, particularly Oomycetes, offering both preventive and curative action.
• Rainfastness: The Wettable Powder (WP) formulation makes the fungicide resistant to wash-off by rain, ensuring prolonged effectiveness.
• Resistance Management: The dual modes of action help in preventing or delaying the development of resistance in fungal populations. 

Target Diseases and CropsIt is primarily used for controlling diseases such as: 

• Downy mildew (in grapes, pearl millet)
• Late blight (in potatoes, tomatoes)
• White rust and Alternaria blight (in mustard)
• Damping off and Black shank (in tobacco nurseries)
• Phytophthora foot rot (in black pepper)
